Jungle Carpet Python - Queensland Australia
Morelia spilota cheynei
RECOMMENDED FOR AUDIENCES:
1 - 100 YEARS OLD
Though Jungle Carpet Pythons have been known to eat mice and rats in captivity, ours prefer a diet of mice.
Females laying 10-50 eggs then coil around the eggs to protect them and keep them warm through using muscular contractions to generate heat.
These pythons are arboreal and love climbing. Hence a proper cage should include climbing branches and perches.
