LIFECYCLE
Females bear live young between 30 and 64 live young at one time. Boas may live 40 years in captivity.
INTERESTING FACTS
The exportation of all species of boa constrictors is restricted, although most populations are not in immediate danger of extinction. Boas are in general one of the most docile of the large constrictors and make excellent pets.
